Vancouver—Rocky Mountaineer
Day 1 –Vacation Begins – Arrival in Vancouver
Everyone can’t help stretching as soon as you arrive in the west coast city of Vancouver where is surrounded by mountains,ocean, the fresh air, and friendly residents. Here is the place where greenpeace started, bears roam into backyards and coyotes sometimes stroll across the golf course. Whether you seek a romantic interlude, a family adventure or just some quiet time, you can have an unforgettable experience.
Day 2 –Head to Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver to Kamloops
Millions of years ago the ocean extended to Saskatchewan,then the Cascades formed volcanically, creating an inland sea.The water receded and the Rockies were formed by shifts in the tectonic plates. Stare out the train’s window at Canada’s scenery – which is some of the most spectacular in the world. Step onto the outdoor viewing platform to feel the breeze on my face.
Day 3 – On the Rocky Mountaineer – into the Canadian Rocky Mountains
This morning return to hotel on the rails – the Rocky Mountaineer. This is the day you’ve been waiting for – the day you reach the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. From the onboard guide we learnt about the important history of the Canadian railroad and the people who built it Riding through the Spiral Tunnels and ascending slowly, and rounding through the darkness, you suddenly emerge to find yourself high in the mountains, surrounded by mighty peaks topped with snow. Breathe deep and feel yourself is embraced in Canadian Rockies
Day 4 – In the Canadian Rockies – Explore Banff
Now the train was brought us into the mountains, it’s time to get outside, explore, and see why the population of Banff doubles in the summer holiday. A gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain gave us a panoramic view of Bow Valley –be surrounded you the mountains on all sides, with the river glistening in the distance. The guided tour let us comfortable relaxation to learn that Banff is gonna be the modern outdoor paradise.
Day 5 – Deeper into the Canadian Rockies –Lake Louise
The most majestic mountains with the clearest glacier water in the world – Lake Louise looks like nothing else. Purity…that’s the only word occurred to my mind at the moment. Wander along the lakeshore, approach to local wildlife, or relax on a bench.
Day 6 –In the end- back to Calgary Airport
Everyone were filled with memories of this trip,specially the Rocky Mountains,we were gonna bid farewell to the Rockies with exciting mood. We arrived in Calgary Airport in time.
arrived at Hong Kong International Airport safely,by the way, had a good sleep in the flight
